Change Facilitation

This course teaches tools and approaches to facilitate collaborative and supportive environments, enabling individuals and organizations to embrace and implement change more effectively.

The role of a change facilitator involves helping people navigate and adapt to changes, whether organizational, structural, or cultural in nature. Change facilitation focuses on creating environments that support change implementation and encourage individuals to embrace new ways of thinking, working, and collaborating.

You will gain hands-on experience with various facilitation techniques, tools, and strategies for supporting individuals and organizations in navigating and adapting to change.

You will:

  • Change Process Models: Understand and utilize change process models as frameworks for guiding the change process.

  • Stakeholder Interviews: Learn how to conduct interviews with key stakeholders to gather insights into their perspectives, concerns, and expectations regarding the change.

  • Planning and Designing Interventions: Develop and implement targeted interventions based on identified needs.

  • Involvement and Co-creation: Learn how to involve stakeholders and others affected by the change in collaborative activities to co-create solutions and build a sense of ownership.

  • Psychological Safety: Learn how to foster an environment where individuals feel safe to express their thoughts, concerns, and ideas without fear of judgment.

  • Visual Tools: Learn how to use visual aids to communicate complex concepts related to change.

  • Active Listening and Coaching: Learn how to provide coaching to key individuals or teams undergoing change.

  • Continuous Monitoring and Learning: Learn how to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Practice a facilitative and transformational style of leadership in change.

Your Teacher

Thomas Reibke is an experienced process consultant, trainer, and facilitator. For 15 years, he has worked with teams and leaders to increase their innovative capacities and lead organizational transformation. He approaches his work from a holistic perspective and focuses on establishing frames that support groups and individuals to learn and grow collectively.
